PATATAS BRAVAS

Patatas con salsa brava

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g potatoes
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 400g crushed tomato
  • Olive oil
  • Hot paprika
  • Salt

INDICATIONS

First we chop the onion in small pieces and the garlic in thin layers and they are poached in olive oil. Once they are cooked, we add a big spoon of paprika. After a couple of minutes, we add the crushed tomato and cook for 5-10 minutes on low heat. Then, we put all the ingredients cooked together in the blender to mix them well to make a sauce more or less thick.

On the other hand, we wash and chop the potatoes into square pieces seasoning and frying them in hot olive oil until they are golden. After that, we put them apart on paper towels to absorb the olive oil and put them on a platter with “salsa brava” (the spicy sauce made) on top.
