PATRON SAINT FESTIVALS

The patron saint festivals to honour Nuestra Señora de los Remedios take place at the end of August and beginning of September, there being a great number of activities for everyone. Most of the events are held at Recinto Ferial (fairground) and Auditiorio Municipal (Municipal Auditorium), hosting the most important concerts. During this festivity there are significant bullfighting events as well as Feria Taurina Los Remedios (bullfighting fair) the awards to the most oustanding bullfighters.

Plaza de Toros

There are concerts for teenagers and young adults, and heifer runnings at the bullring for them to learn how bullfrighting works. Other tradicitonal events are the contest Concurso de Canteros, children performances, playgrounds, concerts of the municipal orchestra and the popular "verbena" (open-air bar with music in the street).
