Where to get your tickets: 

You can buy single journey ticket on the bus. Validate your ticket before getting on the bus or keep the requiered money within hand's reach in order to make the transaction easier for the driver and to get on the bus quickly. Keep your ticket during the trip, as it is the receipt of the Obligatory Travel Insurance and can use it for any complaints. The bus driver can only offer change for a maximum amount of 5€..

Connections (national/regional): Motril is a city well connected to other Andalusian and Spanish cities through its many bus lines. The station offers a left-luggage services, a shopping gallery and an information office.

Where to get your ticket: Tickets can be bought in advance at the ticket office or vending machines up until 5 minutes before the bus departs. You can also buy  online from the transport company web page and as well as in some particular cases, you can buy it on the bus.

Advice/custom: use approved taxis, checking if the speedometre and taximetre are on. A taxi will never charge you its way back, only the trip you make. Usually there are no tips, even though people commonly round up the sum a bit.

 Bicycle

Motril has a wide network of cycling lanes all over the city, connecting to the surrounding areas and towns and the beach. There is also a services of public bicycles to rent. 

Rental: you will use your cycling pass, which you need to request personally at a transport station or at a bicycle terminal. Take a bicycle once you hear a beep. To confirm that you place the bicycle correctly when returning it, the green light for your bicycle will go red and you will hear a confirmation beep. 

Bicycle station: 7 terminals all over Motril.
