ARROZ CON LECHE

Arroz con leche

INGREDIENTS (for 6 people)

  • 2l milk
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Lemon rind
  • Ground cinnamon

PREPARATION

- Cook the milk, sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon rind in a casserole until it slightly boils down.

- Then, wash, drain and cook the rice in boiling water over a low heat.

- Once the water has boiled down, add milk gradually. Stir every now and then so that a creamy layer cannot be formed on top.

- Take off heat and remove the lemon rind. Transfer the mix into a bowl and sprinkle ground cinnamon.
