MANTECADOS DE HUEVO
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2kg flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 glass of crude olive oil
- Grated lemon rind
- Ground cinnamon
- 3 handfuls of sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 mould
PREPARATION
Add the flour to a big bowl, make a hole in the middle and add the egg yolks, a glass of oil, grated lemon rind, cinnamon and sugar. Knead all the ingredients thoroughly and, then, remove the dough and smooth it with a roller or with your hands. Use the mould to give shape to the dough (“mantecados” can be round, oval, heart-shaped...) and coat with egg white and sugar. Place the “mantecados” on a baking tray on foil paper and cook for 20 minutes.
