FESTIVITIES OF ALBUIXECH

Fiestas de Albuixech

PATRON SAINT FESTIVITIES

The patron saint festivities of Albuixech to honour Christ take place from the 21 of August to the 2 of September and among its most remarkable events there are the opening and closing speeches, flower offerings, parades, fireworks and mass. These festivities include Hijas de María festival with processions, mascletà (firework show) and costume parties, and Claveros del Rosario festival with music bands. 

OTHER FESTIVITIES

San Ramón festivity: from the 31 of August to the 1 of September. Part of the patron saint festivities, since San Ramón is the patron saint of Albuixech. Among the scheduled events there are games for children, outdoor, mass and processions.

Mare de Déu festivity: on the 12 of September.

San Antonio festivity: on the 17 of January. Many pets from the town are blessed by the priest.

Easter Week: the priest and the church community organize the activities for this week, with many religious acts from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday.
